Unleavened Bread

 

"Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day  ye shall  put away leaven out of your houses: for  whosoever  eateth leavened  bread  from the first day until the seventh  day,  that soul shall be cut off from Israel. (Exodus 12:15)

"No  meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall  be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey,  in any offering of the LORD made by fire. (Leviticus 2:11) Ye  shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves  of  two tenth  deals:  they shall be of fine flour; they shall  be  baken with leaven; [they are] the firstfruits unto the LORD. (Leviticus 23:17)

"And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and  proclaim [and]  publish  the  free offerings: for this liketh  you,  O  ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. (Amos 4:5)
Another  parable  spake he unto them; The kingdom of  heaven  is like  unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three  measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. (Matthew 13:33) Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of
the Pharisees and of the Sadducees

"Your  glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a  little  leaven leaveneth the whole lump? (1 Corinthians 5:6) Purge  out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new  lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is  sacrificed for us: (1 Corinthians 5:7)
Therefore  let us keep the feast, not with old  leaven,  neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:8)

"Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt  thou eat  unleavened bread therewith, [even] the bread of  affliction; for  thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in  haste:  that thou  mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out  of  the land of Egypt all the days of thy life. (Deuteronomy 16:3)

"Now  the  first  [day] of the [feast of]  unleavened  bread  the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? (Matthew 26:17) Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. (Luke 22:1)

(Exodus 16:15)

"And  the people spake against God, and against Moses,  Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness?  for [there  is] no bread, neither [is there any] water; and our  soul loatheth this light bread. (Numbers 21:5)

"Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My  offering, [and]  my  bread for my sacrifices made by fire,  [for]  a  sweet savour  unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in  their  due season. (Numbers 28:2) Because  they met you not with bread and with water in the  way, when  ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired  against
thee  Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia,  to  curse thee. (Deuteronomy 23:4)

"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race [is] not to the swift,  nor  the battle to the strong, neither yet bread  to  the wise,  nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour  to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.  (Ecclesiastes 9:11)

"Cast  thy  bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find  it  after many days. (Ecclesiastes 11:1)
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (John 6:35) I am that bread of life. (John 6:48)

"This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man  may eat thereof, and not die. (John 6:50) I  am the living bread which came down from heaven: if  any  man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that  I will  give  is my flesh, which I will give for the  life  of  the world. (John 6:51)
