(b)  Romans 8:2 the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath  made  me free.  

" And  so it is written, The first man Adam  was  made  a living  soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening  spirit."  (1 Corinthians 15:45)
"Who  also hath made us able ministers of the new testament;  not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life." (2 Corinthians 3:6)
